Marci McCarthy is currently the CEO and President of T.E.N., an information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm. McCarthy with more than 20 years of business management and entrepreneurial experience, including founding T.E.N.’s flagship program, the Information Security Executive® of the Year (ISE®) Program Series, which is lauded by the IT industry as the premier recognition and networking program for security professionals in the U.S.and Canada.

In 2015, McCarthy launched ISE® Talent, which specializes in Cyber Security Executive-level searches as well as high-demand security industry skill sets and specializations across all industry verticals.

Marci has followed politics, like people follow football in the South, with a fervor of interest in Republican candidates at the federal, state and local levels. In the past, McCarthy watched from the sidelines, but that all changed on June 16, 2016 with Donald J. Trump declaring his intentions to run for President. The “Escalator Ride that Changed America” captured Marci’s attention and his slogan “Make America Great Again” resonated with her as an entrepreneur and small business owner. From that moment forward, Marci became an outspoken champion for the future President Trump. Marci’s family supported Trump in his run for the White House – attending multiple rallies, supporting fundraisers – to include Trump Victory at Charlie Loudermilk’s home and being an Underwriter of the 2016 Presidential Inauguration Committee (PIC). Subsequent to the 2016 election, Marci increased her involvement with the Georgia Republican Party by supporting numerous candidates running for Congressional Seats, Local and Statewide Offices – Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General and the State House by campaigning in-person, making donations to their campaigns, attending a myriad of events as well as hosting fundraisers in her Brookhaven home. From these dedicated efforts, Marci is now a member of the Karen Handel for Congress’ Leadership Team and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s Leadership Roundtable, where she serves a sounding board and trusted advisor.  In 2019, Marci was approached to become the Chairwoman of the DeKalb County Republican Party Breakfast Series. Utilizing her business, marketing and sales  skills, Marci has positively impacted the DeKalb County GOP. The GAGOP had disregarded and virtually written-off DeKalb as being too blue to turn around. In a few short months of Marci’s leadership of the DeKalb County Breakfast Series, she has created a renewed sense of energy and excitement through social media engagement and extraordinary Breakfast Headliners – Georgia’s Attorney General Chris Carr and Dr. AlvedaKing to name a few. Marci even created a new trending hashtag – #VoteDeKalbRed. Marci believes that her love our country and strong sense of patriotism paired with her business acumen and leadershipskills resulted in her being elected as a National Delegate to represent the Georgia 6th  Congressional District at the Republican National Convention for 2020. Marci was also asked to serve as the Trump Victory Campaign Chairwoman for DeKalb County, Georgia where she has recruited fifteen volunteer fundraisers known as “Bundlers” raising thousands.

Marci is also a member of the Georgia GOP Foundation, Fulton County Republican Women (FCRW), North DeKalb, Republican Women and the National Rifle Association Women’s Leadership Forum.  Marci has always been active in her community – supporting various charitable causes and initiatives. In 2012 she was the recipient of a 4th Congressional District of Georgia Citation, McCarthy was lauded for fostering greater visibility and professionalism for the IT security industry and naming March 13th  “Marci McCarthy Day”. As a finalist in the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) 2012 Tech Marketing Awards, she was recognized for demonstrating exemplary competency in using technology to excel in both marketing and business. In 2013, she was named the Leadership Character Award winner in the Small/Medium Business Category by the Turknett Leadership Group. Likewise, McCarthy was named a 2015 Top Entrepreneur in the Middle Market Entrepreneur Category by the Atlanta Chapter of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs). Marci has been recognized in “Who’s Who in Georgia’s Technology Community” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and as a WIT “Woman of the Year” Award Nominee. Marci was also named one of the 2017 Top Women Entrepreneurs in Cybersecurity by IT Security Planet Magazine. Marci was listed as one of IFSEC Global’s Security and Fire Influencers for 2018 as #3 of 20 total leaders in their Cybersecurity category for making great strides in the business, entrepreneurial, cybersecurity, and technology realms; on Award of Excellence in the Small Business (Individual) Category.

Come out the hear what  Marci has to tell us about her experience as a member of the Georgia delegation for the 2020 RNC convention, and other efforts to KEEP GEORGIA RED!
